Meet Kathleen Shanahan, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist! Kathleen has deep roots with special needs that began in her own childhood. In 1998, she co-founded an early intervention program where she hired and lead an interdisciplinary team. She has devoted over 35 years of her life to helping families and individuals find their way to a life that is filled with hope, healing and satisfaction. In college, Kathleen studied human services with an emphasis in counseling and child development and then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope International University. As a therapist Kathleen is passionate about helping people of all ages and stages develop healthy relationships and connections with each other. A brilliant and creative professional who upholds high ethical standards, she enjoys helping people find practical solutions to problems. Kathleen offers opportunities for healing and redemption of past hurts and for the discovery of joy in relationships.
